Your challenge
As a Team Lead Internal Business Applications, you have a clear understanding of the organization’s vision and can translate this to motivate your team. You direct your team to optimize workplace productivity and promote professional growth.
You are responsible for:
- Managing a team which is responsible for the overall technical design and architecture of the various (internal) applications and their connections. You ensure a sound data model that supports our internal processes and assist in making the right technology choices.
- Working closely together with the colleagues responsible for the various tools and collection of the functional requirements.
- Playing a key role in mapping business requirements to technical requirements and solutions. You’ll work with the technical consultants’ internal applications to design and develop solutions, validate these solutions with the different stakeholders, implement the developments, and train your colleagues.
- Taking care of the release management of these tools and making sure the necessary resources are made available. You’ll also organize the internal support and maintenance of the tools.
- Recruiting new team members by processing incoming resumes and feedback of reviewers and monitoring actions, events, and budgets.
- Planning and following up on software development tasks according to scrum methodology.
- Mastering resource planning for both internal and external projects, including the time logging application that measures the time consultants spent on different projects.
- Preparing and analyzing data for the Business Intelligence reporting tool that shares actionable insights.

As our new Team Lead Internal Applications, you’ll be part of the Technical Services team. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely.Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

- A master’s or bachelor’s degree, or similar by experience.
- Design and programming skills, such as macro coding in VBA.
- 5 – 10 years of management experience in application management and development.
- A proven track record as a trustworthy and efficient people manager with strong project management skills.
- Experience in recruiting top talent for your team and the entire organization.
- An analytical mindset and the ability to keep track of the bigger picture.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English. You can connect with different stakeholders.
- The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
Bonus points if you:
- Experience with SQL, Omnitracker, and Salesforce.
- Experience with and knowledge of the benefits and pitfalls of working in virtual teams spread over multiple locations.
