As a Cybersecurity Technical Analyst, you play a vital role in protecting OMP's critical assets and combating ever-evolving cyber threats. You investigate and contain security breaches, perform digital forensics, and conduct threat-hunting activities. Leveraging a range of cutting-edge security tools and frameworks, you assess vulnerabilities, simulate attacks, and provide recommendations to remediate identified risks. Collaborating closely with a team of skilled professionals, you tackle complex security challenges and actively share knowledge and technical expertise.
Your challenge
As a Cybersecurity Technical Analyst, you play a vital role in protecting OMP's critical assets and combating ever-evolving cyber threats. You investigate and contain security breaches, perform digital forensics, and conduct threat-hunting activities. Leveraging a range of cutting-edge security tools and frameworks, you assess vulnerabilities, simulate attacks, and provide recommendations to remediate identified risks. Collaborating closely with a team of skilled professionals, you tackle complex security challenges and actively share knowledge and technical expertise.
You are responsible for:
- Incident response: Promptly detecting, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
- Threat hunting: Proactively identifying and mitigating potential threats through proactive hunting activities.
- Vulnerability assessment: Conducting assessments to identify weaknesses in systems, networks, and applications.
- Security monitoring: Monitoring security logs, detecting suspicious activities, and implementing effective monitoring strategies.
- Security tool management: Managing and optimizing security tools such as SIEM systems and intrusion detection systems.
- Security documentation: Maintaining accurate and comprehensive documentation of security incidents, procedures, and policies.
Your team
As our new Cybersecurity Technical Analyst, you’ll join the OMP Security team, which is part of our Technical Services team. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely. The team is also responsible for designing cloud solutions and delivering our planning solutions as a fully managed service to our customers.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

• A master’s or a bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, cybersecurity, or similar.

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the field of information security.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experienced with a wide range of security technologies and tools, providing hands-on experience and enhancing technical skills
Bonus points if you:

• Industry-recognized certifications like Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), or others.
