Payroll and Benefits Specialist

Your challenge

As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you are responsible for overseeing payroll for our US employees, administering employee benefits programs, and ongoing compliance reporting. You play a crucial role in making sure our employees get comprehensive and accurate information on their pay and benefits.

You are responsible for:


  • Overseeing the end-to-end payroll process for our US office, including data collection, accurate calculations, deductions, record-keeping, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement.
  • Administering the time and attendance policy and all leave policies.
  • Producing scheduled and ad-hoc reports pertaining to payroll.


  • Administering the full suite of employee benefits, including health insurance, 401(k) plans, life, disability, etc.
  • Processing and administering all leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, and FMLA.
  • Planning, conducting, and reporting results of audits to ensure all enrollments are accurate and that dependent information is correct for each employee, working closely with accounting for quarterly and year-end audits (payroll, Workers Comp, 401k, etc.).

Compliance and reporting

  • Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, as well as recommended best practices while also reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Compiling, analyzing, and generating compliance reports and various audits throughout the year.

As our new Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you’ll be part of the HR Global team. Human Resources attracts, supports, and grows talent at OMP. On top of that, the team develops attractive benefits packages and international mobility programs in the interest of our employees.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in US payroll.
  • Ability to administer employee benefits programs.
  • Experience working with multiple vendors.
  • An analytical and critical mind with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in handling confidential information discreetly.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Ability to administer employment benefits programs.
  • Knowledge of multistate payroll.
