Your challenge
As Staff Accountant Assistant, you work independently, but function as a contributing member of our international Finance team.
You are responsible for:
- Processing and booking purchase invoices and expense notes.
- Obtaining approval of purchase invoices and expense notes through the workflow system.
- Reviewing expense reports.
- Performing bank account and credit card postings.
- Assisting with the AP review, such as subledger clean-up.
- Investigating (late) fees and managing online vendor accounts.
- Communicating with vendors, such as sending payment reminders.
- Carrying out finance-related administrative tasks, such as following up on the general finance mailbox.
- Completing special ad-hoc projects as needed.
Your team
As the Staff Accountant Assistant, you’ll be part of the Finance team. Finance & Accounting ensures correct and transparent financial reporting, provides fiscal and financial support. On top of that, our team makes sure legislation is respected in everything we undertake
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

• Bachelor in Accounting or Finance, or similar by experience.

• Basic Excel and Outlook skills.

• Strong attention to detail with an accurate mindset.

• Critical but positive attitude and a team player mentality.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.

• Interest in becoming a key user of the accounting and scanning software.

• Able to work independently and responsibly.
