Your challenge
As a software engineer, you contribute to the creation of innovative and leading solutions running forecasting algorithms and expert systems. Guided by our top-notch software architects and software experts, you participate in all steps of the software development life cycle from analysis, architectural design, and programming to maintenance.
You’ll have autonomy, ownership of your code, and responsibility for its quality in production
You are responsible for:
- Developing the OMP Solution using the newest features and development techniques of modern C++ and Python.
- Discussing and validating the functional requirements throughout the development cycle together with our experienced product managers.
- Cooperating with data scientists to develop state-of-the-art platform for running forecasting algorithms.
- Maintaining and supporting your developments according to customer feedback.
About you
Essential talents and qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in Software Engineering (or equivalent by experience).
- Comprehensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience with modern C++ (C++17/20 or newer is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with Python, ideally including NumPy, pandas, FastAPI, and asyncio.
- Pride in designing and delivering high-quality, maintainable software (clean code, testing, and code reviews).
- An analytical mindset and comfort with mathematical/statistical reasoning.
Bonus points if you have:
- Time-series forecasting techniques and/or model evaluation in production settings.
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps and Azure Cloud, JavaScript and React, TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
