1. Complete an assignment If your profile interests us, you’ll undergo an assessment connected to the role you applied for and the expertise required for it. For example, software-focused candidates are asked to solve a technical challenge, whereas consulting candidates will be tested on their basic supply chain knowledge. 2. Talk to HR Passed the assessment successfully? Congrats! Now let’s get to know each other. One of our recruiters will listen to your story, interests, and ambitions, and explain what we can offer you. We know there’s much more to you than just your degrees and skills. Meeting in person is a great way to see if we click. 3. Get to know your manager and future teammates Next, your hiring manager will put your expertise to the test and dig a little deeper into your know-how, preferences, and ambitions. Together, you’ll discuss your options and draft the plan for your career at OMP. 4. Meet your director or the CEO You might expect that’s where it ends. But at OMP, it doesn’t. To be sure we get along, we schedule a meet-and-greet with your future team director. Strategic positions require an adapted approach. For senior, tailor-made, and new positions, we arrange for you to meet our CEO in person. We believe that flat hierarchy and short communication lines yield the best results. 5. Sign your contract All set to go? If we both feel the click and agree on the terms, we’ll finalize your contract offer and talk you through the details. Welcome to OMP! We look forward to onboarding you.

At OMP, our dress code is business casual. We appreciate a neat and presentable appearance without the need for overly formal attire, unless that's your personal preference.
We're an informal organization that values diversity and individuality. We look beyond apparel and care more about your personality and qualifications than your clothes. So, be yourself, and don't worry about your outfit. As long as you feel comfortable, you’ll be fine.

At OMP, our onboarding program consists of three key components: training, hands-on experience, and dedicated coaching.
Every new starter receives teacher-led sessions and e-learning modules to build foundational knowledge, followed by ongoing coaching. For new consultants, the program then proceeds with a simulated customer project, working in small groups using real-world tools and methodologies. Throughout their onboarding, consultants have a dedicated coach providing individualized support and regular check-ins to ensure success. Our goal is to equip you with the confidence and skills needed to excel in supply chain consulting, and our onboarding program is designed to do just that. The program typically spans 10-12 weeks.

As a new OMP employee, you’re in for an intensive training program. During your first months, we’ll walk you through the essentials. In our classroom trainings, you and other newcomers will get acquainted with everything you need to know. You’ll learn about supply chain basics; our commercial solution; and OMP’s organization and processes. In parallel, you’ll develop the soft and technical skills required for your job.
On top of that, you’ll follow customized internal training programs connected to your role, interests, and ambitions. When your job requires specialist expertise beyond the know-how of our staff, we offer all the external training you need to be successful.
At OMP, you don’t just get one coach. You get two: a day-to-day coach and a personal coach. During the first six to 12 months, you’ll be working closely with your day-to-day coach. As your mentor and buddy, they’ll get you up to speed, answering all the questions you may have and filling in the blanks that your training hasn’t covered. Your day-to-day coach remains at your side until you are self-managing.
In parallel, your personal coach monitors your well-being, your progress, and your career, stimulating your personal growth and development in the long run. During monthly one-on-ones, you’ll discuss how you’re doing, where you’re headed, and how to get from point A to point B. Also, your personal coach will be there to assist you with your annual performance reviews.

We have several processes in place to ensure your personal growth.
First, you'll have a yearly formal review with your team leader and personal coach, where you'll reflect on the past year, discuss achievements and challenges, and address any bonuses, promotions, or salary adjustments. This meeting is an excellent opportunity to assess your job satisfaction and align your career path with our organization.
In addition to the yearly review, we conduct mid-year reviews to track progress and provide feedback. You'll also have regular one-on-one sessions with your personal coach for ongoing support and guidance.
Furthermore, our career coaches are here to help you navigate your professional development journey, providing valuable insights and assistance in achieving your goals.

We offer a hybrid work model that allows you to strike the right balance between working from home and being present at the office.
In this flexible approach, you have the opportunity to work from home a few days a week. This could mean spending two days working remotely and three days at the office, or vice versa. We believe in empowering our employees to tailor their work arrangements to best suit their needs and preferences, all while ensuring collaboration and productivity.

Travel requirements at OMP vary based on the specific role you’ve chosen. While software engineers typically work primarily from our offices, consultants often engage in business trips and onsite customer meetings.
For roles that involve extensive travel, such as consultants, you may spend up to 50 percent of your time on the road, depending on project requirements. Additionally, if you are working remotely, you might need to travel occasionally to the OMP office in your home country and, in some cases, even to our headquarters in Belgium.
Ultimately, your specific travel expectations will be discussed with your recruiter, ensuring that the travel arrangements align with the requirements and nature of your role at OMP.

No, we don’t. OMP is a supply chain planning software company that also contracts to provide consultancy services for our customers, and this is where our consultants step in as strategic partners (as opposed to outsourced employees). Our consultants are often on the road meeting our customers and guiding them through the implementation process. And at critical times in the project cycle, particularly around the go-live, they’ll spend more time at the customer’s site than usual. So, though OMP does not outsource our talent, we do keep our offices close to our customers, so you’ll always have a desk.
