Your challenge

As a data team developer, you build the OMP 360 data applications for our customers. This involves creating data and BI systems while applying software development best practices, such as source code structuring, version control, configuration management, and multi-tenant deployment mechanisms.

Together with your team, you build multiple industry-standard solutions that allow for customer specific extensions, taking care of sustainability and scalability towards a large customer base.

You are responsible for:

  • Designing and developing a multi-customer solution within the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.
  • Creating data ingestion and transformation pipelines based on industry and customer configuration.
  • Developing the dynamic generation of semantic layer and report artifacts.
  • Developing flexible PowerBI dashboards that leverage the data platform.
  • Partnering with other data and BI architects to define metadata layers, technical strategy, and optimal integration within the existing IT landscape.
  • Integrating customer interfaces and the OMP 360 front end application.
  • Designing, developing, and continuously improving supporting activities such as release management, testing, scheduling, security models, and change management.
  • Providing feedback to product management with regards to enhancements and the usability of the BI application.
Your challenge

About you

Essential talents and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or (Business) Engineering.
  • Proven skills in BI analysis, dimensional modelling, and datamart design.
  • A broader software development background.
  • Hands-on experience managing data sets and developing and monitoring ETL/ELT processes.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or similar technologies.
  • The ability to develop in Microsoft PowerBI.
  • Experience on working in an Agile / Scrum setting.
  • Fluency in SQL and Python.
