Your challenge

As a Front-End Software Architect, you apply your advanced knowledge of modern JavaScript to review and reshape the entire user experience to match the needs of tomorrow. In close collaboration with user-centric design experts, UX designers, and our experienced team of functional product managers, you define the architectural vision for our user interfaces. You guide and support our software engineers and software experts in translating your technical designs into a powerful and intuitive UI.

 

 

  • Developing high-level technical designs of new software features based on a clear vision of future extensions, robustness, and desired functionalities.
  • Partnering with backend architects to define API contracts, data models, and integration patterns.
  • Leading medium and large development projects according to agile methodology, through all steps of the software development life cycle from analysis, architectural design, programming, and testing to maintenance.
  • Discussing and validating functional and design requirements with our product managers, product analysts, and UX designers.
  • Conducting architecture reviews and code audits, as well as mentoring developers in architectural decision making.
  • Driving DevOps alignment for front-end delivery: CI/CD pipelines, static analysis, automated testing, and deployment.

 

 

 

 

Your challenge

About you

Essential talents and qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or another relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of work experience in designing and building software applications.
  • Proven technical leadership skills to guide teams through architectural decisions and trade-offs.
  • Excellent system thinking to understand how frontend architecture integrates with backend and infrastructure layers.
  • The ability to mentor and coach others to help developers upskill in modern frontend patterns, testing, and performance tuning.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration skills that will enable you to work smoothly with product, UX, and QA colleagues to ensure cohesive user experiences.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Relevant experience in cloud-native technologies, streaming frameworks, service-oriented architecture, and API development.
  • Knowledge about testing systems.
  • Experience using AI-assisted coding effectively.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages such as Python or C#.
  • But most of all, you’re fun to work with and a great team player!
