Your challenge
As an enterprise BI engineer, you develop our enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions which makes you one of the most important people in our enterprise-wide data management. Your role is to analyze and optimize data models and structures, build BI Solutions that are used daily, and provide self-service capabilities when applicable. You investigate, implement, and support business intelligence systems for the entire organization. As a partner to the business stakeholders, you synthesize their needs and understand their challenges, translating them into appropriate data designs and solutions.
You are responsible for:
- Analyzing the business needs starting from business context to understand the required output, available source data, and expected interpretation.
- Creating datamart, including designing and extending dimensional models.
- Setting up the proper ingestion and data transformation processes.
- Establishing standardized reports and automated dashboardsthat represent meaningful, accurate data and consistent results our managers and executives to consult.
- Coordinating with business on requirements, progress, and testing.
- Teaming up with the business analysts that manage our various internal source systems.
- Maintaining the business intelligence backend and being accountable for the end-to-end solution. This includes ensuring quality checks are done and establishing a high level of quality reports.
Providing feedback to product management with regards to enhancements and usability of the BI systems.
About you
Essential talents and qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or (Business) Engineering.
- Experience in business requirements gathering and coordinating with stakeholders from key departments, such as HR, Finance, Project Management Office, and Business Administration, to identify business needs and analytics opportunities.
- Proven expertise in BI analysis, dimensional modelling, and datamart design.
- 3+ years of experience with the development and monitoring of ETL/ELT processes and validating data quality.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or similar technologies.
- 3+ years of development experience in Microsoft PowerBI.
- The ability to solve problems independently as well as in a team.

- Experience of working in Scrum processes.
