Your challenge
As a Software engineer, you build the data layer that lets other teams and industry solutions extend our platform safely, outside the core product. You own your code and its deployment end to end, in production.You work closely with architecture and product to shape an extension layer that’s still taking shape.
You are responsible for:
- Building data pipelines (data lake / data projections) that expose platform data to extensions.
- Building event-streaming and queuing integrations that extensions use to consume and publish platform events.
- Developing and maintaining the Python SDKs and contracts libraries extension authors build against.
- Automating the CI/CD and deploying your own services. You build it, you run it.
- Discussing and validating the functional requirements throughout the development cycle together with our experienced product managers.
About you
Essential talents and qualifications:
- A Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent by experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python, comfortable owning a service or pipeline end-to-end.
- Experience with queuing or streaming technologies (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ) and/or data lake or analytical pipeline technologies (e.g. Parquet, Spark, Fabric, Click House). Real CI/CD and container/Kubernetes experience — comfortable deploying and running your own services in production. Comfortable working with ambiguity on a platform capability that’s still taking shape.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with Argo CD, Helm, or similar infrastructure-as-code tooling. Familiarity with C++ or OMP’s core platform. Experience with Azure Cloud and Azure DevOps.
