Your challenge

As the HR Generalist/Manager, your role is crucial in driving all HR related processes and projects within our IN offices (Mumbai/Pune). You hold responsibility for translating our HR global strategy into practice and ensuring the compliance. Your portfolio encompasses a diverse array of HR domains, ranging from employee engagement and performance, over talent management as well as managing our IN payroll and C&B processes. In essence, you are at the contact person for employees and management within our IN office.

Although the position is only temporary for 6 months, this can be converted into an indefinite contract.

 

You are responsible for:

  • Support employees in onboarding to foster positive first impressions and ensure new hires are equipped for success.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee questions and concerns, providing your colleagues and managers with prompt, fair, and confidential resolutions to maintain trust and satisfaction, and perform general HR related administrative tasks and services.
  • Accurately processing all elements related to the monthly payroll, ensuring correct and timely calculation and payment of salaries, and be the first point of contact for all questions related to salary, vacation, social legislation etc.
  • Develop and implement attractive programs to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, in line with the global guidelines. Manage the on- and offboarding processes and organize employee wellbeing activities and events.
  • Collaborate with (global) HR team members on various projects and initiatives.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to all labor laws, industry regulations and internal company policies, making timely updates to HR procedures and employee handbooks, and communicate accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR reporting and data analysis for senior management and headquarters, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Your challenge

About you

Essential talents and qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • At least 6+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably with an international (technical) organization, working closely with global teams
  • Extensive knowledge of Indian payroll practices, and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Powerpoint, Excel, etc.)
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a global team across time zones (including Europe and the US)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work in a structured manner. You have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR systems, processes and best practices.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Extensive knowledge of HR systems, processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with with HR analytis tools and data-driven reporting.
  • Experience with CN and/or ANZ payroll processes.
