Your challenge

Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision-making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. Hold face to face workshops and work together with the customer’s business and IT teams to understand their production and supply planning challenges. Design solutions using proprietary software to model and solve customer’s planning challenges. Perform data readiness checks and advise master data corrections or local data management if needed. Configure internal SAP namespace or supply chain integrator to translate available customer data into a data model to be utilized by various supply chain planning modules. Configure feedback module to ensure accurate reflection of real-time data, including order status on machines, tank and inventory levels, in-transit inventory, order history, and raw material receipt availability in the tool. Utilize built-in configuration capabilities to create tailored dynamic dashboards, alert mechanisms, and management reports ensuring that the impact on the customer's supply chain value drivers is effectively visualized based on planning decisions. Use agile methodology to plan and deliver functionalities over multiple sprints. Conduct standard and customized training sessions to educate clients on the offered supply chain suite and the custom solution build for their industry. Provide testing plans, user stories, and scripts for the solution build. Provide user and change management support throughout various phases of the project. Requires 20% domestic travel to various, unanticipated client worksites. Multiple open positions.

Essential talents and qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering or a similar degree in the area of Engineering or Supply Chain management.
  • 2 years of experience in a related occupation.
  • Alternate Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering or a similar degree in the area of Engineering or Supply Chain management.
  • 5 years of experience in a related occupation.

Hard skills

TWO (2) years of experience in ONE of the following skills is required: SAP (PP and MM) Communication protocols for SAP (through BAPI/RFC) databases and files Web-service technologies such as HTTP SOAP and REST (based APIs) Middleware such as SAP PO and SAP PI ETL tools SQL R JavaScript or Python
