Your challenge
As a BI Technical Architect, you manage the enterprise data warehouse and strategy. You take the technical lead in analyzing and optimizing data models and structures, investigating and implementing business intelligence systems for the entire organization and our customers.
You support our internal and external business users as they take control of their data and get value from it. By working closely with business management, product management, and information management teams, you help to define and implement our roadmap on data management, business intelligence, and analytics solutions.
You are responsible for:
- Determining platforms, structures, processes, and procedures for the central data warehouse.
- Partnering with other data and BI technical architects as well as infrastructure and software experts to define metadata layers, technical strategy, and optimal integration within the existing IT landscape.
- Maintaining the business intelligence backend and being accountable for the end-to-end solution. You make sure quality checks are done and establish/guarantee a high level of quality reports.
- Designing, developing, and continuously improving supporting activities such as release management, testing, scheduling, security models, and change management.
- Providing feedback to product management with regards to enhancements and usability of the BI application.
- Defining, analyzing, and prioritizing BI requirements from different teams, managers, and executives together with the team lead.
- Setting up standardized reports and automated dashboardsthat represent meaningful, accurate data and consistent results our managers and executives to consult.
- Providing coaching and training, to your colleagues in the BI team, but also to other report builders in the organization.

As our new BI Technical Architect, you’ll join the Global Excellence team, as part of the Internal Services organization. The Global excellence organization ensures that our company operates at its best and is continuously in pursuit of the highest standards and the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- Architecture skills in the BI domain.
- Experience in building business intelligence design and data analytics, including best practices, guidelines, and strategy setting.
- The ability to translate business requirements into data models, reports, and dashboards.
- Hands-on experience managing data sets and working with ETL tools and data warehouse solutions such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, or similar.
- Experience in working closely with key departments such as HR, Finance, Project Management Office, and Business Administration to identify business needs and analytics opportunities.
- Experience in working closely with product development.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills with an eye for detail and a clear way of representing information.
- The ability to solve problems independently as well as part of a team.
