Your challenge
We love to meet customers and prospects at in-person and virtual events. To further professionalize our efforts, we’ve created an event services team that supports our business in providing a superb event experience for all participants. This team will also support internal events, bringing together our growing global workforce to share knowledge and experience.
As an Event Manager, you join our growing international company to provide essential support and assistance for our Marketing & Communications team.
You are responsible for:
- Overseeing events (internal & external) from start to finish
- Monitoring event coordination progress, keeping everything on track and on schedule.
- Managing day-to-day logistics and administrative tasks to support successful event operations.
- Planning and coordinating event promotion and communications, collaborating with team members to amplify our message.
- Handling registrations and maintaining event documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for all stakeholders.
- Implementing the marketing strategy for events, aligning our efforts with broader business objectives.
- Providing on-site support and ensuring smooth event execution
- Tracking the event budget, optimizing resources while staying within financial guidelines.
- Assisting in the reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate event success and drive future improvements.
Your team
As our new Event Manager, you’ll be part of the Marketing & Communications. Our team engages the conversation with internal and external stakeholders, shaping our communications and building the OMP brand.Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or a similar field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in event planning and management across a wide range of event formats.
- A skilled project manager with demonstrated experience in managing large-scale events.
- An assertive yet flexible approach to working within a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- An eager-to-learn attitude and a drive to get things done.
- A strong sense of responsibility when taking on new projects.
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge of the supply chain sector or IT.
