Your challenge
As a Platform Development Engineer, your main task is to improve our cloud offering to our customers. This can be by improving visibility by setting up a logging and reporting framework to support our solutions, automating tasks using Azure devops, setting up new scaling possibilities to increase performance, and much more.
You are responsible for:
- Improving and maintaining the monitoring and reporting solutions.
- Taking responsibility for capacity management tasks to prevent performance issues.
- Training our consultants on how to use the platform in the most efficient way.
- Writing technical documentation of our platform offering.
- Providing input to our product development teams on how to best develop for our platform.
Your team
As our new Platform Development Engineer, you’ll be part of the Technical Services team. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely.Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s in ICT or similar by experience.
- Solid technical background combined with a basic interest in our supply chain planning software.
- Excellent communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
- A team player mentality combined with the capacity to work autonomously.
- The ability to work in an organized way and within a standardized framework.
Bonus points if you have:
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and networks.
- Experience with databases.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft PowerShell scripting language.
- Experience with Cloud services, preferably Azure.
- Knowledge of monitoring and reporting tools like Power BI, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
- Knowledge of automation tools like Azure Devops, terraform, or ansible.
