Your challenge
As the HR Project & Implementation Manager, your role is crucial in driving cross-functional HR projects (e.g. a new performance management tool, ERP projects, dashboards for forecast, salary, and benefits). You are responsible for translating our HR strategy and business requirements into detailed functional designs, project management, and effective implementation. Your portfolio encompasses a diverse array of projects, ranging from employee engagement and performance and aligning the working of different HR systems to overseeing projects, reporting, and contributing to our HR strategic projects. In essence, you are at the forefront of driving positive change and organizational excellence across various HR domains. To achieve these goals you work closely with internal stakeholders within HR, as well as with other involved teams within the organization, such as the Business Applications, Business Intelligence and security teams.
You are responsible for:
- Leading and managing HR projects from inception to completion.
- Defining, analyzing, and implementing data analytics, business intelligence applications, and BI requirements within HR. This includes analyzing and optimizing the data models and structures and collecting the different requirements, transforming them in a technical design and data model that can be further elaborated in detail by the Business Applications team.
- Designing and/or setting up standardized reports and automated dashboards that represent meaningful, accurate data and consistent results our managers and executives to consult.
- Liaising with different teams to ensure the smooth implementation of projects.
- Partnering with other data and business intelligence architects, as well as infrastructure and software experts, so that they are able to define metadata layers, technical strategy, and optimal integration within the existing IT landscape.
- Working closely with your HR colleagues to ensure the final solution fits our needs.
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives in your area that are aligned with the overall HR business strategy.
- Supporting current and future business needs through the development and engagement of people and steering change.
- Bridging management and employee relations and requirements by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Reporting to management and executives and providing HR metrics to support their decisions.
Your team
As our new HR Project & Implementation Manager, you’ll be part of the HR team, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary global teams where every discipline provides a piece of our HR systems and solutions. You will also work closely together with the Global Excellence team, which equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do our jobs effectively and securely.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree with at least 5 years of experience in HR and project management, preferably within an international technical environment.
- At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in building business intelligence design and data analytics, preferably within the HR field.
- Extensive knowledge of HR systems, databases, processes and best practices.
- Proven track record in successfully leading various HR projects, including change management.
- Experience in business process management to streamline and optimize HR operations.
- Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking combined with a practical hands-on mentality.
- The ability to understand complex issues and find effective solutions.
- A pragmatic attitude, you question ideas and critically weigh different options before deciding.
- The ability to meet project deadlines and provide high-quality deliverables.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate, persuade, and inspire effectively.
- Outstanding active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- The ability to work in a structured manner. You have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
Bonus points if you have:
- A passion for technology and eagerness to learn.
- Hands-on experience managing data sets and working with ETL tools and data warehouse solutions such as SQL Server, Oracle, Azure, or similar.
- Knowledge of Power Query, Power Automate, and/or HRIS / ERP systems.
- Certification in project management and change management.
