Your challenge
As a Financial Controller you work with our international accounting teams, to make sure the monthly closing process runs smoothly. This uses your interest in processes and systems, as well as your skills in energizing people to deliver timely and high-quality work.
You are responsible for:
- Coordinating and verifying the monthly financial closing process of OMP Brazil and OMP India in collaboration with the local accounting/tax company and local OMP team.
- Obtaining the financial information of other minority companies to make sure accurate data gets uploaded into the consolidation software.
- Performing basic accounting and finance checks on reported entities, both balance sheet and P&L.
- Reviewing the balance sheet reconciliation files from the OMP entities to ensure data is correct and up to date.
- Creating financial reports in Lucanet and Excel and providing commentary on the figures.
- Composing budget, quarterly forecasts, and multiyear plans together with the other controllers.
- Performing variance analysis of actuals versus budget, forecast, or prior year.
- Composing and updating KPI reports regularly (travel, training, events).
- Meeting with budget owners to discuss variances and using this information for forecast updates.

As our new Financial Controller, you’ll be part of the Finance & Accounting team. Finance & Accounting ensures correct and transparent financial reporting and provides fiscal and financial support. Additionally, our team makes sure legislation is respected in everything we undertake.Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in analytical accounting within a multinational or large Belgian company.
- Strong Excel skills and a keen interest in reporting structures.
- A drive to create reports in Excel and Lucanet (Conso and reporting tool).
- Results-oriented and committed to consistently delivering high-quality work.
- The ability to work independently and organize tasks effectively, with accountability for meeting deadlines.
- Fluent Dutch and proficient English for our international setting.
- An interest in working in a fast-growing, international environment.
