Office 365 Architect

Your challenge

As a MS365 Architect, you take the lead in implementing our Sharepoint documentation management system (DMS), while making sure it fits in our current system landscape and aligns with our business needs and way of working.

You are responsible for:

  • Driving the ongoing transition to MS365 solutions within OMP.
  • Taking the technical/ICT lead role in the project team that is implementing Sharepoint.
  • Working in close collaboration with our knowledge manager.
  • Defining the technical architecture and configuration of MS365 (Teams, Sharepoint Online, and OneDrive), including the integration with existing solutions.
  • Translating the security, data handling, and compliance requirements into technical solutions that are aligned with our security strategy. 
  • Looking for opportunities to streamline and automate business and technical processes within the MS365 ecosphere.
  • Providing and applying modern SharePoint framework and MS automation apps expertise.
  • Staying up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 technologies and roadmaps and giving advice on further integrations in the OMP enterprise architecture to add value for OMP.
  • Developing technical documentation and training ICT members on operational MS365 tasks and processes. 
  • Coaching junior ICT members in day-to-day procedures.

As our new MS365 Architect, you’ll be part of the Technical Services team in a fast-growing international company. Technical Services equips our teams with the necessary technology, applications, and technical framework for them to do their jobs effectively and securely.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 technologies and managing the MS365 environment in big organizations.
  • Experience in defining technical architecture and configuring MS365.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of integrating MS365 security groups with Active Directory.
  • The ability to gather and translate technical and non-technical requirements into a technical solution.
  • Proven experience of taking a technical lead role in projects.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • A hands-on approach.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Microsoft 365 certificate(s), for example, Microsoft Developer, SharePoint, Architect, Co-pilot or Power Apps certificate(s), and/or Cloud certifications.
  • Skills in and knowledge of Window OS and server administrator best practices including IIS, PowerShell, Microsoft Graph Console and DNS server configuration.
  • Experience implementing Power Platform solutions in SharePoint and Teams.
