Your challenge
As a PMO Manager, you oversee PMO activities to ensure their efficient execution and business suitability and identify pain points and areas for improvement together with the PMO core team. You’re responsible for establishing and maintaining project management best practices, templates, and tools to support project managers. This role is essential for fostering a project management culture, improving project execution, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals while maintaining flexibility and adaptability.
You are responsible for:
- Managing day-to-day PMO operations, working closely with the PMO Administrator to ensure smooth execution.
- Driving the adoption, tracking and compliance of PMO processes and guidelines.
- Working closely with the PMO core team and the Global Delivery Excellence Lead to define PMO objectives and continuously enhance PMO processes.
- Serving as the functional and technical owner of PMO tools.
- Collaborating with the PMO core team on their respective areas of responsibility and supporting related operational activities together with PMO Administrator.
- Acting as project manager in PMO projects.
- Reporting to the Global Delivery Excellence Lead.

As our new PMO Manager, you’ll be part of the Delivery Excellence – PMO team which, in turn, fits into the bigger picture of the Delivery team. The Delivery team delivers the solution and assists customers before, during, and beyond implementation. Our team adds value, brings calm to the customer’s work floor, and raises satisfaction for everyone involved.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, IT Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, …,
- 5+ years of experience in a PMO role, preferably in software solution delivery or technology-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, paired with a practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- A highly structured and detail-oriented approach to process management that is flexible and pragmatic to ensure efficiency while maintaining team agility and innovation.
- Proven hands-on experience with project and program management tools, with a strong affinity for configuring and customizing tools to optimize workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively negotiate, persuade, and inspire diverse stakeholders.
- Outstanding active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills that ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
- The ability to work in a structured, methodical manner, demonstrating keen attention to detail without losing focus on the broader objectives.
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to drive change and foster continuous improvement within our organization.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
Bonus points if you have:
- A certification in project management.
- Azure DevOps knowledge.
- Experience with any advanced project and program management tools.
