Your challenge
As a Software Engineer for Business Applications API, your focus is to guarantee the smooth operation of the business applications used by a variety of teams. You are involved in using C# in an Azure Cloud context to implement new features and error correction in existing applications. With relevant experience, you’ll also participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of new functionalities and conceptualize new applications.
You are responsible for:
- Developing the best solutions for specific applications in close partnership with internal stakeholders. This requires working with Azure Cloud tools including Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Services.
- Offering training and support to colleagues in the use of these applications.
- Representing OMP in meetings and discussions with external partners. These technical discussions are mostly regarding the integration of our business applications and data storage with the third-party application.
- Supporting the use of third-party applications, such as Salesforce, MS Dynamics, Azure DevOps, and Omnitracker, within the company.
- Developing web tools for reporting.

As our new Software Engineer for Business Applications API, you’ll join the Global Excellence team, as part of the Internal Services organization. The Global excellence organization ensures that our company operates at its best and is continuously in pursuit of the highest standards and the continuous improvement of processes, products and services.Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- A degree in computer science or equivalent in practical experience.
- A strong background in C# and the .NET eco system, with 3 to 4+ years of hands-on experience in building, integrating, and maintaining APIs.
- Experience in developing and integrating RESTful and OData APIs following best practices in authentication (OAuth, JWT) and documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI), ensuring scalable and secure communication between services.
- Proficiency in Azure with experience in deploying applications and managing resources like Azure Functions, AKS, Azure ServiceBus, Azure Keyvault, Logic Apps, and APIM.
- Solid understanding of relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle (migration experience is a bonus).
- The ability to keep an eye on details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Pride in writing high-quality code.
- A proactive problem-solver mindset. You’re comfortable working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with product managers, DevOps engineers, and QA specialists.
Bonus points if you have:
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Bicep and knowledge of GitHub actions or Azure pipelines for automating deployment flows.
- Experience with Visual Studio Code and Git.
- Experience with working in remote teams.
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience working with REACT.
