Your challenge
As a Staff Accountant, you are an integral part of our global finance department. While working with a small team, you will focus on US accounting matters while also gaining insights into our international operations and the importance of our US office. You will report to the Assistant Financial Controller in the US.
You are responsible for:
- Managing all incoming invoices into the scanning system.
- Processing of vendor invoices (GL and cost center bookings).
- Obtaining proper approval and maintaining the approval matrix.
- Reviewing and processing of expense reimbursements.
- Follow-up of corporate credit card usage (receipt bookings).
- Reconciling AP accounts (netting of open amounts, follow-up on pending approvals).
- Maintaining vendor master data in the accounting system and communicate with key vendors.
- Maintaining vendor and government portal login details.
- Collecting and ensuring appropriate action is taken on finance related physical mail received.
- Producing weekly payment schedules, ensuring timely payment of all vendors.
- Registering daily bank bookings.
- Reconciling bank and credit bank statements, investigating and resolving outstanding items on a regular basis.
- Ensuring proper record retention is upheld for all financial records.
- Managing the US Finance mailbox.
- Assisting in preparation of other accounting reports and helps Assistant Financial Controller with special projects, as necessary.

As our new Accountant, you’ll be part of the Finance & Accounting team. Finance & Accounting ensures correct and transparent financial reporting and provides fiscal and financial support. On top of this, our team makes sure legislation is respected in everything we undertake.Your profile
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- +1 year of staff accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
- Accurate and detail-oriented.
- Being able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
- Manage deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
