Continuing its steady growth across the globe, OMP welcomed its new team members to its Belgium head office on September 1. The day-long event was packed with activities aimed at introducing newcomers — most of them newly minted university graduates — to OMP’s culture of global collaboration.
The occasion is the latest in a series of celebrations for OMP in 2023. This year, the company not only grew its global team to surpass 1,000 people but also celebrated the 20th anniversary of its U.S. office in Atlanta, which now comprises a successful team of 200 members — up from just two when it opened in 2003.
The event kicked off with breakfast and a warm welcome from CEO Anita Van Looveren. This was followed by group information sessions and meet-and-greet sessions with the new hires' respective coaches, providing them with an overview of their future careers, onboarding process, and training tracks.
OMP continues to achieve steady growth through ongoing campus recruitment efforts and year-round talent additions, strategically timed to coincide with higher-ed graduation dates in various countries. In total, over 200 new faces have joined the company this year across Europe, India, China, the U.S., and Brazil.
While OMP has achieved impressive growth, the company values quality over quantity in its sustainable growth philosophy. OMP emphasizes a seamless onboarding experience and invests heavily in this area. As part of this effort, they have introduced a specialized onboarding program tailored for supply chain consultants.
This dedication to a strong work culture is evident in how OMP hires talent based on its core values, fostering unity and a promising future.
